Malaysia Trip

Hi all well is taken a while but we are back with some pictures from the Malaysia trip.
The trip started pretty good me just travelling over to see Tan in KL. My flight was delayed for 8hrs in Sydney so by the time I arrived to meet Tan it was 3am and very warm. We started just doing some site seeing and visited the Petronas Towers outstanding building it looks like stainless steel.

The picture below shows Tan with one of the parrots from a park we visited also.

The eye on Malaysia put in for the 50 year anniversary, gez get some time up, young pups.

Tan doing some craft work.

The result was pretty good, she has a real talent for the craft stuff.

Getting ready for the 3hr trip up the river to Taman Negara, the oldest rain forest in the world. My ass was asleep for most of it.

The front of the resort, the place is just amazing in the middle of no where.

Canopy walk gets to 80m high in some areas.

The local food catching device. I hit the target first shot, locals were amazed and me. The target was a teddy bear jez I hate them.

Yep it is pretty warm up here among the canopy.

The trip was amazing. Next trip my just be to Vietnam.

Short Update

Hi all, well I have had a renewed interest in the the Muzza's Blog page. As you can see the last one was quite away away.

We are back in Brisbane. We moved back into the house in The Gap Jan this year and have being cleaning up ready for some renovations which we hoped would take place before Aug, but with things being busy the plans have taken a step back. Since coming back Odie has broken his foot trying to do some kind of great leap from the garden to the sloped area of the yard. He spent sometime with a cone over his head.. Ha.

Tanya is enjoying the new job cooking and gets more chances to travel. She has being keeping fit and really enjoys the Qld life style after the hassels of driving through Sydney each day last year. I have being enjoying Uni this year at UQ, having a break from the military life but not from work. My studies have involved doing some GIS, Remote Sensing, Global Population Issues and Urban Challange subjects. The first semester ended in Jun and recommenced in Jul.
